In what class/age group should I register my child?

Children are placed in crews based on the grade they will have completed by June 2024, not the grade they will be entering in the fall.

For Example:
A 5 year old completing preschool will register as a Preschooler.  A child leaving 3^rd grade will register as Grade 3.

Where do I drop off and pick up my child during VBS?

Details for drop off and pick up will be emailed to the parent/guardian who registered their child.

Why do I have to provide a Security Word?

For the safety of all children, you will provide a Security Word when you register your child. Please share your Security Word with anyone allowed to pick up your child. The Security Word you provide when registering will be required at pick up. You may use the same Security Word for each child in your family.

If I invite a friend to VBS, can they be in the same crew with my child?

If your child would like to invite a friend, you may request that they be placed in the same crew. For this request to be considered, the friend must also request your child and they must be in the same age group. We will do our best to accommodate requests, however we cannot guarantee that all requests will be honored. Early registration of both parties is beneficial to meet Friend Requests.

Can I register my child the first day of VBS?

We strongly encourage advance online registration. However, walk-in registration is accepted based on availability. Be aware that sessions may be full.

How can I cancel my child’s VBS registration if our plans change?

If your plans change and your child is unable to attend VBS,  you may email us at vbs@mthorebchurch.org.
