We want to thank you for your prayers as God has made a new way for Mt. Horeb Church. As you may know, the South Carolina Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church has approved the separation of Mt. Horeb and 112 other churches. To date, 5,556 churches in the United States have now disaffiliated from the United Methodist Church.
Mt. Horeb’s Way Forward Team has unanimously recommended to our Administrative Council that Mt. Horeb align with the Global Methodist Church. The Administrative Council unanimously approved their recommendation. We believe the core values and mission of Mt. Horeb closely align with the values and mission of the Global Methodist Church.
