10:10 BRIDGE AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM
The theif comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. – John 10:10
10:10 Bridge exists to “bridge” gaps for children in our community that are at risk of not reaching their full potential. We are committed to providing spiritual, emotional, physical, social, and academic support for these children who have a complex and diverse set of needs. Our goal is to have a 1:1 ratio of mentors to children every day. This allows children to be supported and guided in a safe environment, giving them the tools they need to lead a more abundant life.
During the school year, programming takes place Tuesday through Thursday afternoons from 2:00-5:00 and includes Bible teaching, recreation, academic assistance, and a hot meal. During the summer months, programming takes place Tuesday through Thursday mornings from 9:00-12:00 with children participating in a variety of camp-style activities.
How can I serve?
If you want to have the opportunity to build a special relationship and change the life of a child, being a mentor may be right for you. There are other ways to serve including: tutoring, helping in transportation, serving food, committing to pray for an individual child, or even subbing for any of these positions.
High school students can also serve after school or during the summer where they can come alongside children in a variety of ways.

BACKPACK PROGRAM
Mt. Horeb partners with Harvest Hope Food Bank and other local churches to provide food for hundreds of hungry children in Lexington School District 1. Each week on Friday afternoons children in the program receive child-friendly, nutritious, and easy-to-open food to take home for the weekend. To volunteer with the Backpack Program, contact Lesa Gray.
CONCESSIONS OF HOPE
Concessions of Hope provides meals at Hope Plaza in Columbia for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. A team from Mt. Horeb participates in this ministry by preparing and distributing meals to an average of 150 individuals on the last Saturday of every month. This ministry provides not just food for the body but also encouragement and nourishment for the soul.

EARLY RESPONSE TEAM
Our SC Early Response Team (ERT) consists of trained volunteers who respond when natural disaster strikes in the Southeast. They provide emergency repairs and/or assistance in the early days after a disaster to clean out flood-damaged homes, remove debris, place tarps on homes, and otherwise help to prevent further damage, while providing a caring Christian presence. Volunteers are trained to provide various types of physical, emotional, and spiritual assistance to disaster survivors.

EMMANUWHEEL
EmmanuWheel mobilizes volunteers to build wheelchair ramps and assist in home modifications for mobility-impaired individuals who would not otherwise be able to afford the cost of such modifications. By addressing a real and specific need, volunteers share the love of Christ with members of the household they are serving. The Mt. Horeb ramp team has constructed over 100 ramps, stairs, porches and decks for men, women and children who were not able to safely get in and out of their homes.
Please contact Joe Pinkham for more information or to serve. No previous experience necessary!

PRISON MINISTRY
The Prison Ministry spreads the Word and love of God to inmates in one of our local prisons. Our volunteers lead an in-prison weekly Bible Study and fellowship, and each year Bibles are distributed to interested inmates.
