Bachelors in related field
Active church involvement
- Completed membership
- Regular worship attendance
- Active in a small group setting
Three years’ experience working with children
Self-motivated: can work independently as well as being a strong team player
Computer knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and a devoted emailer
Strong communication, organizational & writing skills

Coordinate the daily activities of 10:10 Bridge After School Program, ensuring the daily volunteer staffing of adults, college interns and social work field placement students as well as high school student volunteers, food prep and service, drivers and transportation
Supervise field placement students meeting USC College of Social Work requirements
Supervise mentors in accomplishing daily program goals
Plan daily program activities and goals for child participants
Ensure that Bible study and discipleship training are in place with appropriate leadership
Lead the weekly mentor meeting providing training and coaching as needed
Registration of new children to include intake assessment with parent or guardian
Develop and recruit teen/adult recruitment sources through networking new and supporting existing school & church connections
Oversee quarterly orientation of new volunteers: teens & adults
Communicate with teachers on a weekly basis to facilitate communication and weekly progress report
Responsible for the distribution, collection and review of the weekly character logs for each child
Communication with parents/guardians on a regular basis to include assessing needs and identifying areas of growth
Ensure supplies and learning tools are available for mentors
Recruit fine arts leaders as needed
Organize special events around holidays
Develop and implement evaluation tools to determine effectiveness of program
